HOW TO GET TO WADI RUM

Wadi Rum is located in the south of Jordan.

The turn off to Wadi Rum is located along the highway between Aqaba and Amman. The turn-off is well-marked, about 40km north from Aqaba. Once you reach the turn off, continue on this tarmac road for 20-30km arrive to Wadi Rum Visitor’s Centre – Wadi Rum Village is 7km drive beyond this point – this road is also sealed.

 

Our meeting place in Wadi Rum Village is the Rest House – located 7km drive from Wadi Rum Visitor Centre where you will pay an entrance fee: 5JD per adult or FREE with your Jordan Pass.

Car parking is available at Wadi Rum Rest House. We are able arrange your taxi transfers to and from Wadi Rum with our taxi driver.

The best way to get to Wadi Rum is by car or organised taxi. Although there are also a few public transport options, see below.

Aqaba – Wadi Rum: Departs after midday
There is one direct bus from Aqaba to the Wadi Rum Visitor’s Centre/Wadi Rum Village each day, except on Fridays. This bus is primarily used by locals. A new JETT Bus route has started for tourists, check the schedule at the link above.
